Capitol High Academy
In 2008, the Baton Rouge Chapter of 100 Black Men established a wholly owned subsidiary, 100 Black Men Capitol High School Initiative, Inc. which holds the charter for Capitol High Academy for Boys and Girls. They are two separate schools on the same campus under the leadership of a Charter Board made up of members of the 100 and other supporters of education within the Baton Rouge community, including Capitol High Alumni and parents.
The board includes Dr. Ernie Hughes, President;Brace B. (Trey) Godfrey, III; Adell Brown, Jr.; Dennis Blunt; Shelton D. Blunt; Edward Collins; Winston Decuir, Esq.; John Smith; Jamar Herbert; Michael Victorian and John Smith
